Suzie started her legal career in 2003 as a commercial solicitor with Simpson Grierson. Her desire to help individuals resulted in her specialising in private client legal work and then recently the development of a new legal model – Base Law.
Through her Base Law model, Suzie provides fellow senior solicitors with the tools, knowhow, and support to consider a new way to practice law. One which gives more flexibility, greater value and better work life balance.
Suzie’s thought leadership is influential and gives permission for new ways of working. It empowers senior solicitors to work together, without the boundaries traditionally put in place for lawyers. In turn, clients receive direct access to their own senior lawyer, flexibility to meet at a time and place that suits them, and exceptional legal services and advice without the excessive charge out rate.
What Suzie has developed with Base Law is contributing to a very positive shift in the legal profession – both for clients and lawyers alike.
