Firm welcomes three senior associates, four associates, and three senior solicitors
Anderson Lloyd has promoted 10 of its lawyers to senior roles, according to the New Zealand Law Society.
Heidi Bendikson, Eva Roe, and Sarah McClean have been elevated to senior associates.
Bendikson and Roe are part of the firm’s property and private client team in Queenstown. Bendikson is an expert in land law, particularly complex commercial land transactions and subdivisions, while Roe specialises in property law, with a focus on projects, property subdivisions, and developments. She also has a background in banking and finance.
McClean commenced her new role in the litigation team in the firm’s Dunedin office. She devotes her practice to civil litigation and employment, including insurance law, judicial review, and shareholder-employee disputes.
Meanwhile, the firm appointed Jessica Higgins, Ania Lang, Anita Wan, and Charlotte White as associates.
Higgins joins Anderson Lloyd’s litigation team, bringing her expertise in employment matters, including employment agreements, employment relationship problems, personal grievances, and redundancy.
Lang specialises in corporate and commercial matters, including company law, contract law, and sale and purchase of business and commercial property. She commences her new position in the corporate commercial team in Queenstown.
Wan is an expert in commercial property and forestry law and will serve the property and private client team in Auckland.
White bolsters the firm’s property and private client practice in Dunedin. She specialises in general property matters, trusts, and estate planning.
Lastly, Alex Christie, Roisin Giles, and Rebekah Mapson were promoted to senior solicitors.
Christie brings her expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, shareholder agreements, general corporate matters, and commercial contracts to the corporate commercial team in Auckland.
Giles joins the resource management team in Queenstown. She specialises in resource management law.
Mapson started her new role with the property and private client team in Dunedin. She devotes her practice to property law, with a focus on conveyancing, commercial and personal property, local authority work, and personal planning, including Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA), trusts, wills, and estates.
