The environmental and resource management law expert adds more than a decade of experience to the firm
Buddle Findlay has appointed Ana Coculescu as senior associate.
The environmental and resource management law expert adds more than a decade of experience to the firm. She moved to the Buddle Findlay Wellington office from Beatty Legal, an environment law-specialist boutique firm based in Sydney, where she was a senior associate.
She was also previously with Swaab Attorneys, Baker McKenzie, HWL Ebsworth, and Maddocks. She had also served as researcher for the Hon Justice Brian J Preston, the chief judge of the New South Wales Land and Environment Court.
Buddle Findlay said that Coculescu is experienced in advising Australian private and government clients on issues related to environmental law, acquisition of land for public works, waste, and contaminated land.
She also brings international knowledge to the firm. She has an LLM from the University of Sydney, a master’s degree in European community law from Aix-Marseille III University in France, and undergraduate degrees in Romanian and French law.
Coculescu commenced at Buddle Findlay last month.
In January, Buddle Findlay welcomed two to the partnership and promoted three to senior associate.
