Cavell Leitch has promoted Sam Cowan and Jeroen Vink to principal as Shi Sheng (Shoosh) Cai ascends to the role of senior associate, according to the New Zealand Law Society.
Cowan hails from the dispute resolution team, where he works on commercial, construction, and insurance disputes. He has special expertise in earthquake insurance, defective building, and professional negligence claims.
His clients include major global corporations, who seek his advice on risks and obligations related to New Zealand operations.
Vink is among the lawyers helming Cavell Leitch’s property and construction practice. He first joined the firm in 2012.
He has tackled all areas of property law, such as property development, sales and purchases, leasing and financing. He specialises in residential and commercial construction law, and has provided guidance to builders, developers, large commercial property investors and first home buyers.
Cai has generated immigration solutions across all immigration categories for both corporate and individual clients alike.
