The lawyer moves from her own general practice firm, which she established in 2015
O’Connell Chambers will welcome Cushla Webster on 1 April, according to the New Zealand Law Society.
She will move from Davenport Law, a general practice law firm she established in 2015. Prior to her own firm, she was a senior solicitor at Rennie Cox.
Webster is a family law expert. She has extensive experience in complex relationship matters, which includes matters that involve family trusts, businesses, and spousal maintenance.
Webster is a founding member of the Collaborative Advocacy Association of New Zealand. She is a trained collaborative law practitioner.
She is also an active member of the Family Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society. She is an elected member of the Family Law Committee of the Auckland District Law Society, where she advises on policy and legislation.
