Jen Crawford has been named the new independent chair of chartered-accountants firm Ashton Wheelans.
Crawford is a former partner and current consultant at Anderson Lloyd, where she provides advice to select clients and marketing support for lawyers of the firm. She was formerly at Bell Gully and Buddle Findlay in New Zealand, as well as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the UK.
She has more than two decades of national and international experience in project consenting and planning, as well as governance experience in the Canterbury region, her Anderson Lloyd profile says. She is also an expert in due diligence and transactional work, infrastructure projects, urban development, and agribusiness.
Her current governance duties include roles at Ngāi Tahu Seafood Limited and Regenerate Christchurch. She is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors and a member of Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga.
