Firm says new hire "represents a real boost to our commercial litigation and international arbitration offering"
HFW has announced that expansion of its global litigation practice with the recent hire of Nick Braganza as partner in Dubai.
Braganza has a broad commercial disputes practice – covering litigation and international arbitration – with a focus on shareholder and joint venture disputes, fraud, and insolvency. He also has a wide range of experience advising on white collar crime matters and conducting internal and regulatory investigations in the Middle East.
In a joint statement, Noel Campbell and Rick Brown, global co-heads of fraud and insolvency at HFW, said that Braganza “is a very skilled disputes practitioner with significant experience of litigation and international arbitration throughout the Middle East and globally.”
“His arrival represents another important step in the continued growth of our global fraud and insolvency team, and we are very pleased to welcome him to HFW,” they said.
Meanwhile, Richard Gimblett, Dubai office head at HFW, said that Braganza has an “excellent reputation in the Middle East and represents a real boost to our commercial litigation and international arbitration offering.”

HFW has been in the Middle East since 2006 and now has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait City, and Riyadh, making it one of the largest practices of any international law firm in the region.
