Rebecca Davies was formerly an associate at McVeagh Fleming
Leishman Legal has welcomed Rebecca Davies to its newly opened Auckland office as new associate, reported the New Zealand Law Society.
Davies was an associate at McVeagh Fleming for over two years. She also worked with Chapman Tripp’s commercial property team as a solicitor.
She has practised for over eight years and specialises in all facets of family law matters, including property, parenting and care of children, family violence and protection, incapacity, wills, and trusts and estates. Moreover, she has extensive experience in dealing with civil disputes and employment issues.

Davies is also adept at facilitating mediation and out-of-court settlements and has represented clients in the Family Court, the District Court and the High Court. She has presented at numerous seminars and conferences on various aspects of family law.
Outside of her legal role, Davies has participated in fundraising projects at her whanau’ Marae in Te Kuiti, Waikato and regularly volunteers for the Auckland City Mission throughout the years. She is currently a volunteer member of the Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association − Network of Women Panel and did some volunteer work at the Waitakere Community Law Centre.
