NZLS invites legal professionals' feedback on AI in new survey

The New Zealand Law Society | Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa has invited members of the legal profession to participate in a survey seeking feedback on AI.

The organisation’s research project will look into the profession’s attitude towards and experience with this technology. It will also examine how law firms’ AI adoption strategies. The Law Society’s Representative team will spearhead the study, which is a response to Law Society members saying that they struggle with using AI and need guidance and support.

Moreover, lawyers and organisations are being asked to join focus group discussions. Findings from the study will be applied to the Law Society’s education programmes and support.

The survey will close on 18 April. The research results will be revealed mid-year during a national webinar and a lawyers’ workshop series.

The organisation teamed up with LexisNexis on the study to leverage the legaltech company’s resources.
