Auckland-based Wyndham Chambers has announced the addition of Sarah Bush to its barrister ranks.
Bush been practising law for over 20 years and is experienced in all areas of family law, including property, spousal maintenance, care of children and domestic violence. She is also a trained mediator and has conducted a large number of family mediations.
Additionally, Bush is the first lawyer in New Zealand to successfully argue an economic disparity case for a client.
Prior to joining Wyndham Chambers, Bush was family law partner at South Auckland law firm, Inder Lynch Lawyers. She has delivered a number of presentations in family law and has been a contributing writer to a leading professional textbook on domestic violence.
Bush completed her LLB at the University of Auckland and is a member of the Family Law Section, Auckland District Law Society, New Zealand Law Society, and the NZ Bar Association.
Bush described her approach as giving clients “direct and honest advice in plain language” and said she will ensure that clients understand their “legal rights and entitlements and how these can be achieved.”
