Wynn Williams has announced the promotion of Tim McGuigan to the firm’s partnership, effective 11 November.
McGuigan, a litigator based in the national firm’s Ōtautahi Christchurch office, works with clients across Aotearoa New Zealand, according to the firm’s news release.
“We are delighted to have Tim as part of the Partnership and look forward to the insights and experience he brings to the table,” said Ash Hill, managing partner at Wynn Williams, in the firm’s news release.
McGuigan focuses on regulatory and prosecution work, said the firm’s news release. He handles environmental compliance, monitoring and enforcement issues, and prosecution work on behalf of numerous councils, the news release added.
“Tim is an astute litigator with specialist experience in the regulatory prosecutions field and delivers huge value to our clients,” Hill said in the firm’s news release. “He is also a trusted mentor to the junior members of our team and is highly respected within the Firm and externally for his mature and considered advocacy.”
