MinterEllisonRuddWatts debuts first gen-AI based in-house chatbot

MinterEllisonRuddWatts has debuted its first gen-AI based in-house chatbot, which leverages the Azure platform.

The firm's partners and staff are presently trialling the use of the chatbot, dubbed AIME, for administrative tasks. The testing process is intended to bolster trust in gen-AI, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities presented by this technology; it is also intended to help its users become more comfortable with using gen-AI.

The chatbot operates within the Microsoft Teams environment, benefiting from the platform's security and ensuring that internal data inputted into AIME are not only secure, but also comply with privacy laws.

MinterEllisonRuddWatts technology partner Tom Maasland played a significant role in the rollout of AIME.

MinterEllisonRuddWatts CIO Nigel Stevenson added that the launch of AIME is a major milestone in the firm’s technology innovation initiative.
