Jo Zaharopoulos, Senior Legal Counsel at Probe Group since 2018, is an experienced in-house lawyer who is passionate about adopting a pragmatic, solutions focused approach to help her stakeholders meet their business goals.
Jo advises the ProbeGroup senior management team on a broad range of legal matters to support Probe to deliver on its strategic objectives and its purpose to provide exceptional customer experiences for its valued clients. Operating across the Pacific, Asia and North America, Probe designs and deploys solutions that
utilise its knowledge and capabilities in contact centre and customer management, CX consulting, intelligent automation and analytics.
Jo is a trusted business advisor who has supported Probe's legal and compliance needs through its rapid growth journey managing a high volume of legal work across a broad range of areas of law. The Probe Group's ability to record significant growth despite the pressures of the COVID- 19 pandemic, has recently received national recognition at the 2021 Australian Growth Company Awards and Top 100 private companies. Jo prides herself on being able to communicate complex legal information in meaningful and understandable ways to enable stakeholders to execute and deliver on their requirements in a compliant manner.
In her role as Senior Legal Counsel Jo has supported Probe's legal and compliance needs in a complex and high growth environment with over 17,500 staff. She is passionate about the law and her positive attitude and client focused approach is valued by her Probe stakeholders and their clients.
Jo has been recognised for having showcased excellence beyond the expectations of her role and for continuously adding value to the Probe team. She has been awarded the In-house Lawyer of the Year Award in the Lawyers Weekly 2020 Women in Law Awards. Jo was also part of the award winning Salmat in-house legal team recognised with the Legal Team of the Year Award (Small) by the Association of Corporate Counsel Australia in 2017.
