Both companies are set to bolster their production capabilities through the deal
Lander & Rogers has helped the founders of Allied Grain Systems (AGS) with its sale to Mitchells Group.
Both companies are expected to bolster their production capabilities through the deal, in addition to extending their presence. According to AGS founder John White, the company is seeking “new opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately benefiting our customers and the broader agricultural community”.
AGS will continue to use its name and branding, in addition to keeping its management structure, workforce, and locations.
“John and the team at AGS are a vital part of Australia's agricultural community and have been for many years. We look forward to seeing the AGS business continue to go from strength to strength in partnership with Mitchells”, Lander & Rogers co-lead partner David Morris said.
Morris headed up the firm’s team alongside partner David Tink, supported by senior associate Doug Brown and lawyer James French. Partner Peter Kritikides tackled the property law aspects of the deal, while specialists from the finance and workplace relations and safety teams pitched in as well.
