Allied Grain Systems founders ink sale to Mitchells Group with help from Lander & Rogers

Lander & Rogers has helped the founders of Allied Grain Systems (AGS) with its sale to Mitchells Group.

Both companies are expected to bolster their production capabilities through the deal, in addition to extending their presence. According to AGS founder John White, the company is seeking “new opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately benefiting our customers and the broader agricultural community”.

AGS will continue to use its name and branding, in addition to keeping its management structure, workforce, and locations.

Morris headed up the firm’s team alongside partner David Tink, supported by senior associate Doug Brown and lawyer James French. Partner Peter Kritikides tackled the property law aspects of the deal, while specialists from the finance and workplace relations and safety teams pitched in as well.

AGS is a designer, constructor and installer of commercial-scale grain handling and storage facilities for farming businesses in Australia. Mitchells Group is a Singapore-headquartered conglomerate that owns engineering and manufacturing facilities in the UK and China.
