Harris, who will become Ashurst's CIO, was the EMEA CIO at NRF
Ashurst has named a new CIO in Kevin Harris, formerly CIO for Europe, Middle East and Asia at Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF).
Harris will join Ashurst’s London office. The firm said that his experience in technology strategy, cyber-security and technology innovation would be “instrumental” in moulding Ashurst’s digital landscape.
“Kevin's proven track record in driving digital transformation and his ability to lead high performing teams will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and enhance our technology capabilities. His vision and leadership with play a crucial role in advancing our firm's strategic goals and delivering exceptional value to our clients/ensuring that our service offering operates at the forefront of the market”, said CTO Sid Maharaj, who is also on Ashurst’s executive team.
Harris has spent more than two decades managing IT operations. He has delivered complex change programmes for infrastructure optimisation and digital property alignment, the firm said.
In addition to his role with NRF, he logged stints at Taylor Wessing (IT director), KPMG and Deloitte.
As Ashurst CIO, Harris will report to Maharaj.
