A cloud accounting service provider is getting into the online legal documents space.
ASX-listed Reckon has partnered with AusDocsOnline to offer small, medium, and franchise businesses across Australia access to legal documents via the internet.
“Reckon customers can download the latest legal documents for a fraction of the cost and time of consulting a lawyer directly, taking the hassle out of ensuring policies and procedures are up to date,” Reckon said.
The partnership sees AusDocsOnline’s library of more than 500 legal documents, which are written by lawyers and backed by
LexisNexis Australia, available to Reckon customers.
“Workplace legislation is tougher than ever today. Small businesses are typically unable to afford HR or legal professionals, or the time to review policies, they tend to expose themselves to costly, damaging claims,” said Shaun Locke, Reckon ANZ national sales manager. “By alleviating such administrative concerns for small businesses, this will free up time to focus on revenue driving opportunities. At the same time, good employee management with consistently applied procedures and policies can also provide transparency, greater staff satisfaction and higher productivity.”
The partnership also targets advisors, including accountants, bookkeepers, and business consultants who assist small businesses with compliance. AusDocsOnline also provides access to affordable professional advice on workplace and commercial law, as well as services for human resources and industrial relations.
