Clyde & Co has made senior appointments across its Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney offices.
Joining the firm is Paul Hopwood, who is appointed to special counsel. He moves from maritime law-specialist boutique Cocks Macnish. He brings to the firm more than 15 years’ experience, with a focus on the marine sector and particular expertise in admiralty, marine insurance, and international trade law.
The firm has also promoted five to senior associate in Brisbane and Perth. They are Chloe Blackwell (real estate, projects and construction – Sydney), Leah Hewish (corporate – Sydney), Teodor Lomaca (real estate, projects and construction – Sydney), Stefanie Luhrs (insurance – Brisbane), and Alexis Norbury (insurance – Sydney).
Claire Smith (insurance – Brisbane) and Scott Jackson (real estate, projects and construction – Perth) have also joined the firm as senior associates.
The appointments follow appointments earlier this year of real estate and projects partner Cameron Thomson and insurance and cybersecurity partner John Moran, who both moved from Norton Rose Fulbright.
In January, the firm welcomed oil and gas expert Barry Cameron as special counsel. Initially practicing in Aberdeen, Scotland, the senior lawyer recently relocated to Perth.
