DLA Piper advises on gold exploration company’s recapitalisation

Global law firm DLA Piper has advised gold exploration company Ora Banda Mining on its recapitalisation and $30 million capital raising.

Ora Banda Mining is the owner of the Davyhurst Gold Project in the highly prospective tier 1 gold mining province of Eastern Goldfields, Western Australia.

The DLA Piper team was led by corporate partner Michael Bowen, who was assisted by partner Alex Jones, special counsel Hedley Roost and Leyton Cronk, and solicitors Chris Seotis, Zach O'Connor, and Kirsty Hall.

"This was a complex recapitalisation plan and capital raising formulated over six months,” said Bowen. “The successful completion of this process sees our client debt-free and well-funded to execute its refreshed corporate strategy to fully realise the value of its prospective landholding."
