HHG Legal Group has been included in the inaugural edition of Best Law Firms - Australia by Best Lawyers.

The firm was specifically recognised for its work in family law, receiving the rank “Regional Tier 2 in Perth.”

In total, the new list by Best Lawyers features 477 law firms across several regions and practice areas. Thirty-nine of these firms were included within the category for family law.

Managing director Murray Thornhill commented in the HHG Legal Group’s inclusion in the Best Lawyers list and said the recognition is a reflection of an “ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality legal support and guidance to families during their most challenging times.”

The firm’s family law team provides advice on matters such as divorce, child custody, and property settlements.

“At HHG Legal Group, we believe in putting our clients first and ensuring they receive the best possible legal representation," Thornhill added. "This recognition inspires us to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the high standards that our clients expect and deserve.”

HHG Legal Group has a history dating back to 1919 and serves clients across Western Australia. It is currently being led by Thornhill and executive chairman Simon Creek.

In announcing its latest recognition, the firm said that it has been cited in over a dozen awards and publications since 2004.

HHG Legal Group was recently named State/Regional Firm of the Year during the Australasian Law Awards in 2023.
