Over 20 female lawyers were promoted, including two new partners
Holding Redlich has started the new financial year with a women-centric promotions round that elevated 21 female lawyers – including two to partner.
Sarah Butler is the newest partner on the TMT practice, while Megan Cant joins the workplace relations and safety partnership. Both Sydney-based lawyers stepped into their new roles today.
National managing partner Troy Lewis explained that the promotions round reflects the firm’s focus on female representation at the top.
“Today’s promotions also reflect the success of our comprehensive career development programs and flexible working policies aimed at supporting the professional growth of female lawyers within our firm. This has been, and remains, a priority for us as we continue to ensure that our firm leads the way in relation to female representation at the senior lawyer and partnership levels”, Lewis said.
In total, Holding Redlich elevated 29 lawyers in this cycle. The other lawyers promoted are listed as follows:
General counsel
Special counsel
Senior associates
Associates
These appointments also took effect today.
Earlier this year, Holding Redlich also brought in former health and safety regulator executive Jane Hall as a partner in its Melbourne workplace relations and safety team.
