Hunt & Hunt lawyers has announced the promotion of Joey Tass to Partner in its Sydney office.

Hunt & Hunt Managing Partner Sarah Cappello shared her excitement over Tass’ promotion and how his skills will be useful for the firm.

Who is Joey Tass?

With a degree in Law and Commerce, Tass is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the High Court of Australia, and the Federal Court of Australia.

Tass has been with Hunt & Hunt since 2020 where he joined as an associate. Throughout the years, he rose through the ranks and became one of the important members of the litigation and dispute resolution and employment law teams of the firm. He frequently represents clients in commercial and employment disputes as well as provide advice for them to ensure compliance.

Prior to joining the law firm, he garnered experience as a solicitor in various firms such as Cappello Rowe Lawyers, Wotton + Kearney, and Vardanega Roberts Solicitors.

Speaking on his promotion, Tass expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to grow his career.

“My elevation to Partner marks a significant milestone in my career, and I am thankful of the support I have been provided, as well as the trust and confidence that the firm has placed in me. I am excited to continue contributing to the growth, development and success of the firm,” said Tass.
