Corrs Chambers Westgarth has promoted three lawyers with different areas of expertise to the partnership.
Rachael King, Jared Heath, and Liming Huang have been named to the Corrs partnership in recognition of their “extremely valuable contributions, said John W. H. Denton AO, Corrs partner and CEO.
“Rachael is a member of our national legal excellence team and a legal project management champion in Perth, Jared plays a significant leadership role with our LGBTI network steering committee and our South East Asia focus group, and Liming does fantastic work with our China business group,” Denton said.
King, who’s based in Perth, is an expert in alternative dispute resolution, regulatory prosecution, administrative tribunal and judicial review proceedings, Corporations Act and trusts litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and disputes in the resources and construction sectors. She has a master of laws degree from the University of Cambridge, specialising in international dispute resolution.
Heath, who is a specialist in government advisory and is based in Melbourne, advices on major projects with complex policy and political objectives and diverse stakeholders. He advises both public and private sector clients in public-private partnerships, complex structuring, and legislative, regulatory, and policy reviews.
Huang, who is also based in Melbourne, specialises in project finance, private equity, energy and resources, China, and foreign investment into Australia. He is a trusted advisor to Chinese companies, giving bilingual advice and acting in a wide array of matters, including joint ventures, IPOs, and corporate governance issues.
