Nexus Law Group has appointed Marc Montandon as its newest local consulting principal in Western Australia.
Montandon, who has extensive experience as in-house counsel and private practice lawyer both nationally and internationally, joins well-known safety lawyer, Greg Smith, Nexus Law Group principal.
Montandon, who’s admitted to practice in Australia, the UK and Switzerland, has worked in Nestle, SGS Australia and Sundance Resources. In private practice, he has worked in
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer,
Clayton Utz,
Gadens and most recently, WA firm Ellery Brookman.
He has experience in a range of industries, including natural resources, scientific testing, manufacturing and infrastructure, and he can also speak a range of languages, including French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
His recent focus has been advising companies on a broad range of corporate, commercial, governance and regulatory matters, such as contracts, business and asset acquisitions and disposals relevant to the resources, engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors, following top-tier and boutique private practice experience.
