Norton Rose Fulbright unveils its latest office environment
Norton Rose Fulbright has showcased its latest version of a modern law firm workspace.
The global firm’s team in Toronto is now based at 222 Bay Street, in the heart of the city’s financial district, with state-of-the-art offices across four and a half floors optimized for better collaboration and innovation.
The office includes the latest technology together with workspace designed by world-renowned architect Lehman Smith McLeish.
Highlights include glass offices to allow light to move through the office seamlessly; moveable touchscreen monitors and laptops; improved videoconferencing capabilities and sit/stand desks; colourful, contemporary Canadian art graces the corridors and boardrooms; and two wellness rooms for personal needs.

World Bicycle Relief Australia will benefit from a new pro bono partnership with Clyde & Co.
The Australian non-profit is part of a global organization that provides specially designed bicycles into rural areas of developing countries where walking is the main form of transport.
Clyde & Co partner Cameron Thompson said the firm is very proud to be able to support the organization.

Legal executive search firm hires former MasterCard Worldwide GC
Boutique legal executive search firm Barker Gilmore has hired the former MasterCard Worldwide general counsel in the advisory and coaching division.
Until recently, former trial attorney Noah Hanft was also corporate secretary and chief franchise officer of the global financial firm which he joined in 1984.
In joining Barker Gilmore, he joins many other Fortune 500 general counsel and chief compliance officers in advising legal and compliance departments, CEOs, and boards, including General Counsel recruiting and placement.
