The disputes expert is among the 20 incoming partners of the firm
A Perth-based lawyer is among the 20 incoming partners at Allen & Overy.
David Jenaway will join the Magic Circle firm’s global partnership on 1 May. The promotions have been made across 11 offices and five practice groups, including seven new partners in the Asia-Pacific region. The group is one of the most geographically widely spread in years, with 80% of the new promotions made outside London, A&O said.

“We have had another strong year in Australia, and David’s promotion to the partnership reflects both his strong contribution to our market-leading litigation team and the growing demand we’re seeing for litigation and international arbitration services across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Geoff Simpson, A&O’s Perth managing partner. “We continue to invest in our Australian based coverage following on from the recent recruitment of Simon Huxley.”
Huxley moved back to A&O from DLA Piper in February.
