Melbourne barrister Ross Ray was killed in a quad bike accident at his hobby farm near Mansfield yesterday.
The former
Law Council of Australia president and Chair of the Victorian Bar was found pinned under a quad bike at the property in Merrijig by police and ambulance offers just after 12:30pm.
According to a report by the Sydney Morning Herald, a police spokesperson said a report would be prepared for the Coroner and that WorkSafe Victoria would investigate the accident.
Ray, who was in his 60s, appeared before several Royal Commissions and worked as a prosecutor on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria in its case against Essendon Football Club’s supplements program.
