47 members of the legal profession led the pack in inspiring others and making change
Forty-seven members of the legal profession in Australia have been named this year’s Most Influential Lawyers by Australasian Lawyer.
Among them is Maddocks’ Michael Winram, who sees himself as “just the face of a very broad and successful team”.
“I’m surrounded by people who are smarter than me and are equally passionate as I am. As a team, we’re able to make a difference”, he said.
Adero Law’s Andrew Chakrabarty considers himself a lawyer for all Australians.
“I want to hear people’s stories and see if I can assist them,” he said. “There is value in having that fight because it provides everyday Australians access to a justice pathway that they may not have ordinarily had or been able to afford”.
Joining Winram and Chakrabarty in the winners’ circle are Advantage Legal’s Leigh Davidson and the IPTA’s Jennifer McEwan.
