Thomson Geer advises McPherson's on Multix brand sale

Thomson Geer has announced it has successfully advised ASX-listed McPherson’s Limited on the sale of its Multix brand to International Consolidated Business Group (ICBG) for A$19 million. The Multix brand, known for its range of bag, wrap, and foil products, was sold as part of McPherson’s strategic initiative to focus on its core health, wellness, and beauty brands, according to a news release.

The legal advisory team from Thomson Geer was led by partner Jason Marcus, who expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the transaction. “We are pleased to be able to provide McPherson’s with a complete legal service that smoothed the way for this transformative transaction for the company," said Marcus. He highlighted the comprehensive support provided by the firm, covering compliance with ASX Listing Rules, banking approvals, and transaction documents.

“With expertise covering all aspects of the deal, Thomson Geer provided a seamless service for our client,” he added.

Marcus was supported by senior associate Hansel Tsang, partner Sanushka Seomangal, and partner Marc Saadie.
