The deal will see Ingersoll Rand products incorporated into CAPS' portfolio
Thomson Geer has helped the owners of Complete Air and Power Solutions (CAPS) Australia with its sale to US industrial pump company Ingersoll Rand.
Through the deal, Ingersoll Rand products will be incorporated into CAPS’ portfolio. The Thomson Geer team assisted with deal negotiations and sale agreements, conducted due diligence, and advised on the competition law aspects of the sale.
Partner Hedley Roost headed up the team, which comprised associate Melissa Oliveri and lawyer Josephine Singgih. Partner Josh Simons, special counsel Nadine Frost, partner Cameron Forbes and senior associate Megan Bowman provided additional advice.
An M&A team from KPMG Perth assisted on commercial negotiations and financial and tax issues.
CAPS is an air compressor and power generator supplier headquartered in Perth. It has been family-owned for over 40 years, with 10 offices and more than 200 employees across Australia.
