One legal adviser continues its PAITREO transactions streak
A group of top firms have acted on APA Group’s latest $500m pro-rata accelerated institutional with tradeable retail entitlement offer (PAITREO).
King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) acted for APA, while Sidley Austin, Baker McKenzie, and Russell McVeagh advised on foreign securities law. Allens and Sullivan & Cromwell advised the underwriters of the deal.
KWM continued its string of PAITREO work with the APA deal, which will be used to fund the company’s major infrastructure projects over the next two years. APA’s committed projects are currently worth more than $1.2bn and growing.
M&A partners David Eliakim and Will Heath led the KWM team. Senior associate Anna Chen and associates Chloe Johnston and Evelyn Peter provided support.
KWM recently advised the underwriters of Woodside’s $2.5bn PAITREO. It also recently worked with Transurban on its $1.9bn PAITREO for the West Gate Tunnel Project.
