Firm adds Nickelle Morris to its team
Travis Schultz & Partners, a boutique personal injury firm with a focus on compensation, has announced the opening of its new office in Southport, Queensland and the expansion of its team in the Gold Coast to meet current market conditions.
“The expanding construction sector, along with the Gold Coast’s rising population, has inevitably led to more workplace and road accidents,” said Travis Schultz, managing partner, in the firm’s media release. “Alongside the complexity of insurance schemes, this has driven a substantial rise in demand for our expertise.”
The health and retail industries are also swiftly growing in the Gold Coast, the media release noted. In the face of this rising demand, Schultz stressed that the firm would continue to offer a fee structure lower than that of corporate firms.
The firm aims to focus on quality over quantity, to help its clients retain the majority of their settlements, and to maintain its values-driven approach to fairness and community, Schultz said in the media release.
“We believe in meaningful community engagement and truly listening to our clients’ stories,” Schultz added in the media release. “Our clients value the personalised, community-focused approach we offer, and this expansion allows us to maintain that standard in a rapidly growing region.”
The new office in Southport covers all areas of compensation law, including workers’ compensation, public liability, and motor vehicle compulsory third-party claims. The firm’s four offices across Queensland now have more than 70 staff members.
The firm has added Nickelle Morris as special counsel based in the new Gold Coast office. Morris, an accredited personal injury specialist, will be working alongside Karla Macpherson, an associate who has contributed to the firm’s Gold Coast and Brisbane locations.
“I chose to join Travis Schultz & Partners because of their proven expertise, and commitment to supporting clients throughout their recovery, which aligns with my own professional values,” Morris said in the media release.
Morris focuses on personal injury claims involving traumatic brain injuries and catastrophic injuries, including spinal cord damage and amputations, according to her bio on the firm’s website. Her work spans all areas of compensation law, including workers’ compensation, public liability, and compulsory third-party claims.
