The in-house star brings experience from big names like NAB and AFCA
Hunt & Hunt has appointed in-house vet Shelley Nave to lead its banking and finance team.
Nave has worked in banking, financial services, and regulatory compliance for more than two decades. This includes stints as in-house counsel at NAB, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, and Beyond Bank Australia.
She also logged a six-year run at AFCA (formerly the Financial Ombudsman Service) and was in-house counsel for a fintech start-up.
“We are thrilled to have Shelley join our team. Like Hunt & Hunt, our financial institution clients constantly focus on enhancing customer experience. We believe Shelley’s learnings from years at AFCA and a variety of banks will provide new insight to our clients in this process”, Hunt & Hunt managing principal Tony Raunic said.
With Nave joining the firm, women make up 42% of Hunt & Hunt’s principals.
