Manning is a leader in the design of strategic legal services imperatives and governance frameworks. She has expertise in highly regulated industries facing significant changes in market conditions or law reform, and draws upon her experience gained in a broad range of sectors including healthcare, forestry, FMCG, research & technology and manufacturing. For example, Manning’s leadership at the Smile Solutions Group has resulted in the establishment of a highly effective legal function and the development of a market leading approach to governance of clinical risk, clinical emergency response, and the use of intravenous sedation and anaesthesia in dentistry. She is multi-talented, and is an internationally recognised intellectual property strategist, a thought leader, Board Member and academic. She is currently completing a PhD in Law at Monash University and is a Recognised Student (Doctoral) of the University of Oxford.
