Acting District Court judge appointed

Craig James Thompson, a retiring District Court judge, has been appointed as an acting District Court judge.

He will also be an alternate judge of the Environment Court. His two-year term commences on 26 October.

The new acting District Court judge is a former partner at Hardy-Jones Clark. He first joined the District Court bench in 1992.
