Anderson Lloyd has announced the pending relocation of its Ōtautahi Christchurch office to The Regent.

According to board chair Kerry O’Donnell, the move was “driven by the growth of our business and our team.” The new 1,100sqm office will be located on level 2 of The Regent, which sits on the corner of Cathedral Square and Worcester Street.

The firm indicated that the relocation is in line with the current revitalisation efforts in Christchurch. In choosing the Christchurch office’s new home, sustainability played a key role.

“The Regent incorporates energy-efficient and other sustainability features aligning with Anderson Lloyd’s commitment to environmental responsibility as the first mid-large size New Zealand law firm to become Toitū net carbonzero certified,” O’Donnell said.

Base build with main contractor Cook Brothers is expected to be completed by February. Anderson Lloyd has partnered with Gaze Commercial to customise the office fit-out; the firm intends to finish the fit-out and relocate to the new office by mid-2024.
