McCaw Lewis’ board has promoted Glenn Forster to the role of the firm’s first-ever CEO.

The firm said that the appointment “marks an evolution” in Forster’s role, and highlighted his “contribution to the firm’s vision, strategic objectives and overall management.”

Forster began his tenure with McCaw Lewis in the role of general manager in 2019. The Waikato firm lauded his business and financial savvy, which provided significant support to the director group.

Moreover, Forster led McCaw Lewis through the COVID-19 pandemic and through the exits of several senior directors and staff. The firm explained that he was instrumental in establishing McCaw Lewis’ values-based culture.

As CEO, Forster will continue to work with McCaw Lewis’ directors as he executes his strategic vision for the firm.

“Glenn’s strength is in his genuine desire to see every individual succeed and thrive. He embodies our firm value of manaakitanga – uplifting the mana of others in all his actions. Combine those traits with his excellent business insights and skills, and our firm is in great hands going forward,” executive director Renika Siciliano said.
