The firm plans to provide pro bono legal advice and volunteer both on and off the island, with team members dedicating their annual volunteer day to activities such as track building and beach cleanup.

Carl Hayson, the chairperson of the Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi, emphasised the importance of the agreement, describing it as a significant step for the organisation. He explained that the partnership with MinterEllisonRuddWatts opened up new possibilities for enhancing the island's education, research, and volunteering activities.
Tiritiri Matangi Island is a scientific reserve located in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf.
