Senior lawyer moves firms

Hesketh Henry is about to get a boost with the arrival of a senior lawyer.

Emma Tonkin is joining the firm on Monday as a special counsel, the firm has confirmed to NZ Lawyer.

She was most recently a senior associate at Kensington Swan, where she moved to after a stint as managing associate at Addleshaw Goddard in London.

Tonkin frequently advises and acts for high-net-worth individuals and families. She specialises in private wealth, real estate, and property matters. She also has a focus on investments into New Zealand.

In January, Hesketh Henry promoted Hak Jun Lee to special counsel and Sam Lee to senior associate. In March, the firm promoted Sarah Holderness to senior solicitor and welcomed senior associate Glen Holm-Hansen from Lowndes.
