The new senior associate joined the firm in 2018
Hamilton-based DTI Lawyers has promoted Anna Jackman to the role of senior associate, reported the New Zealand Law Society.
An employment law specialist, Jackman moved to DTI Lawyers in 2018 after three years of working with Edwards Law in Hamilton. She has broad experience in handling personal grievance claims and mediation, as well as drafting employment documentation such as agreements, policies, pleadings and submissions.
She also provides advice on matters related to restructuring, status of workers, health and safety, and Holidays Act compliance. Jackman has represented various employers and employees across various sectors, and appeared before the Human Rights Commission, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, the Employment Relations Authority, the Accident Compensation Corporation and the Employment Court.
In addition, she conducts independent workplace investigations into allegations of misconduct. She is an active member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and earned an international certificate as a workplace investigator from the AWI Training Institute.
