Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has promoted 13 lawyers to senior roles in its promotions round this month.

Of the 13, the following 4 lawyers became special counsel:

Madeleine Bright is part of the dispute resolution team. Bright primarily represents clients in the energy and resources, mining, and construction sectors.

Adeline Brosnan works with the IP/IT team. Brosnan is a technology, data, and IP lawyer concentrating on digital transformation, technology procurement and outsourcing, general commercial contracting, and IP management and commercialisation.

Luci Guyot practises with the IP/IT team. Guyot is a technology and telecommunications lawyer focusing on complex technology procurement, outsourcing, and telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Sophie Wade is with the dispute resolution team. Wade is a litigation and regulatory lawyer whose practice focuses on competition and consumer matters.

The following lawyers became senior associates:

Ondine Baker works with the dispute resolution team. As a commercial litigation and insolvency lawyer, Baker has worked across the projects and construction, financial services, and media and entertainment sectords.

Claudia Boccaccio is also part of the dispute resolution team. Boccaccio has tackled contractual disputes, insolvency litigation, defamation, and class actions.

Louise Dinnie practises with the dispute resolution team. Dinnie concentrates on commercial litigation, white-collar crime, investigations, and modern slavery. She also serves as the pro bono coordinator for JWS in Perth.

Nick Haenel is part of the corporate/M&A team. Haenel focuses on private M&A and venture financing transactions, especially those in the software and technology space.

Gina Iskander works with the tax team. Iskander has worked on issues involving federal and state taxes, concentrating on advisory and controversy matters.

Kenneth Allars Kurien is part of the dispute resolution team, focusing on large-scale commercial litigation and Royal Commissions.

Niki Powell practises with the restructuring and insolvency team. As a restructuring, insolvency, and commercial litigation lawyer, Powell has handled complex commercial disputes, external administrations, insolvency-related litigation, and regulatory matters.

Nathan Ricardo is part of the corporate/M&A team, working with private equity funds on public and private M&A transactions.

Andrew Antoun is also with the corporate/M&A team, focusing on cross-border M&A and private equity.
