Amber Warren has been elected the first female Australia chair at Dentons.

She will step into the role on 1 January 2025, leading the firm’s Australia branch for the next two years.

“I thank the partners for placing their trust and confidence in me to lead Dentons over the next two years through a period of growth and change”, Warren said. “Dentons has been on an incredible growth trajectory over the past five years, almost doubling our revenue by growing our existing practices and establishing new ones”.

She has seen the firm through much of this growth, having been part of Dentons for more than two decades. She sits on the firm’s Australian and global boards; moreover, she has taken on a number of leadership roles.

“Amber has consistently and meaningfully contributed to the growth of our people and to the service we extend to our clients. In my short time with Dentons I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Amber and I look forward to continuing to work with her as we enhance the experience of our clients in Australia, the broader Australian community and across the 80+ countries where we have a presence”, Dentons’ new global CEO Kate Barton said.
