Clarendon Lawyers has acted on two major transactions.
The firm advised NYSE-listed Genpact Limited on its acquisition of Nasdaq-listed Fiserv’s Australian-based item processing business, which serves three of the four major retail banks in the country. The business handles about 100 million cheques annually, or approximately 70% of all cheques processed in the Australian market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Clarendons team on the Genpact-Fiserv deal was led by managing director Tony Symons and director Nick Golding.
Clarendons also advised The Sita Group on the sale of its Avalon Airport Transfers business to Australasian airport transfer operator SkyBus. The Avalon business provides airport transfers between Avalon Airport and the Melbourne CBD. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The team that acted on the deal was also led by Symons.
