The firm’s Australian aviation and marine team welcomes a senior lawyer
Clyde & Co has grown its Australian aviation and marine team with the appointment of Ankush Chauhan as senior associate.
Chauhan joins the international firm’s Melbourne office from HWL Ebsworth, where he was also a senior associate. Before that, he was an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF).
He brings to the firm nearly a decade’s worth of experience specialising in the insurance and transport sectors, with a particular focus on aviation and marine law and commercial litigation.
The new senior associate advises on all aspects of the aviation and marine sector, including litigated and non-litigated passenger and third-party claims, major incidents, cargo claims, contractual disputes, recoveries, public-liability claims, and collisions.
Clyde & Co has been continuously growing its team in Australia. Special counsel Paul Hopwood joined the firm’s Perth office earlier this month. Special counsel Barry Cameron also recently relocated to the office from Aberdeen, Scotland.
In April, the firm appointed partners Cameron Thomson and John Moran in Sydney, who moved from NRF just weeks apart.
