Deals poised to bolster software offerings to public sector
Gadens has announced that it advised software company Civica on the recent acquisitions of LinkSafe, a specialist in contractor management, and booka, a cloud-based facilities management solutions provider.
Civica’s swoop for LinkSafe is set to bolster its GovTech services across various sectors, the Australian law firm said in a release, including education, government, and healthcare.
Smilarly, according to the release, the acquisition of booka is poised to strengthen Civica’s services to local governments in the Asia-Pacific region by enhancing its Authority Altitude platform.
LinkSafe is headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria. It utilises a cloud-based platform to provide over 500 organisations with tailored contractor management services.
booka, meanwhile, has supported 4,300 stakeholders and managed 3,400 assets in the public sector.
The advisory team involved in these two deals was led by Gadens partner James Beckley, with key support from partner Dudley Kneller, senior associate Sinead Quigley, senior associate Eve Lillas, associate Nathan Koulouris, and lawyer Daniel Smith. Their expertise spans various practice groups, including corporate, intellectual property & technology, supported by workplace advisory and disputes and real estate.
