The combination will become official on 1 July
Hicksons Lawyers has announced its upcoming merger with Hunt & Hunt NSW.
The combination will become official on 1 July. The merged entity will cover corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, insurance, real estate, construction and planning, workplace and employment law, technology, health, regulatory, marine, inquiries and family law.
“The agreement with Hunt &Hunt NSW is an important milestone for both firms. We have made a commitment to provide clients with a broader range of services to meet their needs in a rapidly changing environment, and our partners have recognised this would be underpinned by expansion of our capabilities across key practice areas”, Hicksons Lawyers managing partner Cameron Leaver said.
Leaver added that Hunt & Hunt NSW was a “natural partner” for Hicksons.
“This merger is not just about history — it’s about building for the future. Our clients will benefit from enhanced technology, expanded service offerings, and access to a broader team with deeper industry expertise”, said Hunt & Hunt managing partners Sarah Capello and Hasti Kalarostaghi. “We will be able to offer a more integrated, end-to-end service while continuing to deliver the practical, client-focused advice we’re known for. It’s an exciting next step, and we are confident that the firm will be a stronger, more dynamic platform for both our people and our clients”.
