King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) fielded a cross-practice team to help amaysim on its recent capital raising and refinancing.
The legal giant advised the company on its underwritten $50.6m accelerated non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer and helped arrange $91m in new senior debt facilities. Proceeds of the capital raising will be used to reduce debt and boost the balance sheet.
Equity capital markets partner David Eliakim and banking partner Scott Gardiner headed the KWM team. They were supported by senior associates Rahul Mukherkjee and Peixin Truong, as well as solicitors Gemma McMahon and Lawrence Normoyle.
Gardiner, who is the firm’s amaysim relationship partner, said that the company is a long-standing client.
