Melissa Miller will support the firm's IP offering in Sydney as its newest partner
McCullough Robertson has enhanced the partnership at its digital and IP team with the addition of Melissa Miller.
Miller brings 15 years of commercial transactions experience gleaned from a stint at King & Wood Mallesons. Her practice covered IP, technology, privacy and data protection, trademarks, copyright, consumer law, food law and regulatory matters.
She has worked across the food and agribusiness and consumer sectors.
“I am delighted to welcome Melissa to the partnership, as we continue to expand our Sydney offering and advance our commitment to promoting women in leadership”, McCullough Robertson chair of partners Kristan Conlon said. “I know our people will benefit from Melissa’s focus on mentorship and development”.
Joint managing partner Damien Clarke added that sustaining the growth of the firm’s Sydney office, of which Miller will be part, was “integral to the future of McCullough Robertson as we adapt to and support our clients in a world of constant change”.
In 2026, the firm will be celebrating 100 years in the profession. McCullough Robertson said that appointments like Miller’s are indicative of its commitment to bolstering the representation of women in leadership roles.
Earlier this year, the firm hired Madeline Simpson, the ex-head of Herbert Smith Freehills’ environmental practice in Queensland.
