Firm recently recruited partners from another global firm
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has welcomed another partner in Asia, appointing Hao Su as corporate partner in Beijing.
Su’s arrival from Clifford Chance, where he was counsel, comes after Morgan Lewis expanded its team in Hong Kong and Singapore with a double-partner hire from Simmons & Simmons earlier this month. Su was recruited by Clifford Chance in 2017 from Herbert Smith Freehills, where he was last a senior associate.
The new partner is a specialist in commercial and corporate transactions, including inbound and outbound M&A and joint ventures. His clients from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and China come from a wide range of sectors, including energy and natural resources, technology, advanced manufacturing, agriculture, and media, the firm said.

Jami McKeon, Morgan Lewis chairwoman, said Su deepens the firm’s ability to serve clients in cross-border deals.
“His arrival further solidifies our firm’s commitment to representing corporate clients in China, throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and around the world,” she said.
Philadelphia-based Morgan Lewis has more than 2,200 lawyers and other professionals working out of 30 offices in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
