Tonkin Drysdale Partners names criminal law team head

Tonkin Drysdale Partners (TDP) has named Nick Fagan as head of its criminal law team, elevating him to partner.

Fagan took on the mantle as of 1 July. He is a seasoned criminal and family lawyer with almost 10 years of experience.

He first commenced with the firm in 2018 before moving on to the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in 2021 – a move backed by TDP. At the ODPP, he prosecuted serious criminal cases in NSW.

As a family law advocate, Fagan has appeared before the Federal Circuit and Family Court. He returned to TDP last year.

“Nick is an excellent lawyer, particularly as a criminal law advocate and in his family law matters. Just as important to us is that Nick is a terrific person in and out of the courtroom and brings an exceptional character for the future of our firm”, partner Paul Tonkin said.

Fagan and Tonkin work alongside fellow partners Paul Quinn, Lee Pawlak and Dominic Tonkin.
