With the pandemic changing the way people work in a huge way, W+K accelerated its digital workplace and equipped its lawyers with the right tools, to allow them to work remotely. It also implemented its W+K Flex strategy, to enable its employees to work flexibly, facilitating a genuine work-life balance.
W+K is a diverse and inclusive firm that is committed to building a learning culture. Just this year, the firm launched the W+K Fundamentals Program, to enable its people to become more adept at using technology systems; as well as the Pathways Program to support the development of final-year law students-paralegals who reside in practice groups. Learning opportunities focused on wellbeing, juggling home and personal commitments, and navigating the new normal were also offered in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
